This is the old LAMPS website

LAMPS is a popular and successful non-denominational Cumbria County Primary School. The school's 2007 Ofsted report states, "This school provides an outstanding quality of education for its pupils".

New LAMPS website launched

A new, more interactive school website has been launched, making use of the latest content management software. This will enable wider participation in running and updating the website. You can visit the website and and see it come to life at www.lindalandmartonprimaryschool.co.uk.

Please note that the Lindal & Marton Community Website is unaffected by changes to the LAMPS website, and will continue to operate as normal. The majority of the old LAMPS website will be retired shortly.

What people say about us

"I am pleased to inform you that our interim assessment shows that the school's performance has been sustained and that we can defer its next full inspection.", Ofsted interim assessment July 2010.

"The range of activities offered is exceptional. Achievement is outstanding.", Ofsted report 2007.

"I ran out of paper in making a list of all the things you do here. There are so many chances for you to try sports, drama, and music. I'm glad you make the most of them. For such a small school you have a lot of talented adults working with you, this is one of the reasons why you are doing so well. I know you appreciate all the clubs, visits, visitors and special events in school. So do your parents. I especially liked your wonderful garden and the way you look after it.", letter from Ofsted Lead Inspector to LAMPS pupils 2007.

"The school has maintained enviable outcomes over a period of years, and these achievements have been recognised both locally and nationally.", Investors in People assessment 2007.

"Please accept my warmest congratulations and pass them on to your staff, governors and, of course, your pupils.", letter from Her Majesty's Chief Inspector of Schools advising LAMPS of its Ofsted 'Particularly Successful School' accreditation in 2005.

"This is a very good school. The way that the governing body, headteacher, teachers and their assistants work in harmony to allow pupils to succeed, enjoy learning and grow in maturity is first rate.", Ofsted report 2003.
