Lindal Pre-school & Toddlers

Overview

Lindal Pre-school & Toddlers was formed in 1968, and is run by a committee made up from parents and carers whose children attend. It occupies the Buccleuch Hall, opposite The Green. The pre-school has developed its own traditions, and holds many social events. It has strong links with Lindal and Marton Primary School, where the Rising Fives are based, and enjoys access to The Green and the school's playing field.

Lindal Pre-school & Toddlers is accredited by the Pre-school Learning Alliance.

Pre-school

The pre-school offers OFSTED-regulated sessional daycare for pre-school children aged from 2 years 6 months.

Pre-school sessions

Mon, Tue, Wed & Thu  0915 - 1215  (Buccleuch Hall, Lindal)
Mon & Fri  1300 - 1530  (Lindal & Marton Primary School)

Lunch clubs

Mon  1215 - 1300 (only for children staying for Rising 5s)
Tue, Wed & Thu  1215 - 1315

The nursery education grant (available to all children in the term after their 3rd birthday) can be used at Lindal Pre-school.

Toddlers

Want a well organised, structured and friendly toddler group for your toddler or baby?  Lindal Toddlers runs during term time and provides a venue for painting, activities, story and nursery rhyme time in a friendly environment led by experienced staff. £2.00 for the first child £1.00 per additional child / children. Includes a drink and snack! Just pop along to our next session – all welcome.

Ofsted Reports

As Lindal Pre-school & Toddlers is run at two sites, it is inspected separately at each site by Ofsted. The 2008 Ofsted reports can be downloaded by clicking on the PDF icons below. The outcome of each inspection was "Good".
