DARE Community Dance Classes
  DARE
is an award-winning artist-led initiative developing dance through projects at
both community and professional level. DARE works in partnership with Arts
Council England, Cumbria County Council and Barrow Borough Council to bring a
variety of dance styles to a wide range of participants.
DARE offers a progression route in dance for all ages and special
opportunities to participate and perform in U.Dance Festivals (Youth Dance
England) across Cumbria and the North West. DARE can offer one-off taster
sessions or courses.
Current projects include:
- Intergenerational Projects for families and communities
- Mature Movers (aged 55+)
- Community Dance Classes for all ages (Forum twenty-eight & Buccleuch
Hall, Lindal)
- Performance Events: Community Dance Shows and Schools Dance Festivals
