The Life of Pi Textile Collage

Class 3 visited the Brewery Arts Centre in Kendal, where they watched the play "The Life of Pi" and also met members of the cast. The play is based on a novel by Canadian author Yann Martel, in which Pi, an Indian boy, is shipwrecked and survives on an island. After being rescued, Pi tells some incredible tales about his experiences.

On returning to Lindal, Class 3 made three large textile pictures, depicting scenes from the play.
